The first session of the webinar ‘Stationary Energy Storage: The Path to a Sustainable Power Grid’ took place yesterday, April 16, in an initiative promoted by Battery Cluster Portugal. The online event brought together experts and representatives from leading academic institutions to foster dialogue around innovative solutions for a more resilient and environmentally sustainable electricity grid. <\/p>\n

The session featured presentations from INESC TEC<\/a>, the Laborat\u00f3rio Ib\u00e9rico Internacional de Nanotecnologia (INL)<\/a>, the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP)<\/a> and the University of \u00c9vora<\/a>. Each institution showcased research projects and initiatives focused on stationary energy storage – a key component in the energy transition and in integrating renewable sources into the national grid. <\/p>\n

With over 50 participants<\/strong> from across the country – including industry professionals and researchers – the webinar proved to be a valuable space for knowledge exchange and for strengthening connections between academia and the business sector.<\/p>\n

The second session in already scheduled for May 6, with presentations from IEP<\/a>, INEGI<\/a>, CENTI<\/a>, Nova University of Lisbon<\/a> and Vasco da Gama Colab<\/a>. If you haven’t registered yet<\/a>, you can still do so here until May 5th. <\/p>\n
