This European gathering brought together clusters, research centers, companies, and public authorities with the aim of fostering new collaborations within the scope of European R&amp;D programs, focusing on smart and sustainable communities. <\/p>\n<p>During the session, our colleague Diogo Fula presented the mission and activities of the Battery Cluster, with particular emphasis on the digital platform currently under development as part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/newgenstorage.pt\/\">New Generation Storage (NGS)<\/a> Mobilizing Agenda.<\/p>\n<p>This platform aims to create a one-stop-shop digital ecosystem designed to support companies within the energy storage value chain through:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Updated and interconnected infrastructures;<\/li>\n<li>Facilities for characterization and testing of storage technologies;<\/li>\n<li>Support resources for legislative and environmental assessment;<\/li>\n<li>And the active promotion of open innovation, enhancing new collaboration opportunities among industrial, academic, and institutional stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The participation in the event reinforces the Cluster\u2019s role as a driving force in the national and European energy storage technologies sector, promoting a more connected, sustainable, and competitive ecosystem.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On May 9th, the Battery Cluster \u2013 BAT, Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Portuguesa participated in the 7th edition of the event \u201cPartnerships for Horizon Europe: Smart Communities Projects,\u201d organized by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP).
