This session highlighted alternative sectors beyond the automotive industry \u2013 traditionally dominant in the mold sector \u2013 and presented viable paths for diversification and industrial development, such as the battery and electric mobility sectors.<\/p>\n<p>During his intervention, Fernando Machado emphasised the role of Battery Cluster Portugal in promoting national innovation in energy storage, as well as its contribution to building new value chains aligned with the European energy transition goals.<\/p>\n<p>The event also featured two other panels. The <strong>1st panel \u2013 \u201cChallenges in European Markets\u201d<\/strong>, included Pedro Patr\u00edcio and Miguel Fontoura, AICEP delegates in the UK and Sweden, who shared insights on the current commercial and economic dynamics of these markets.
