As one of Europe\u2019s leading events dedicated to energy storage, the forum gathered industry leaders, international experts, policymakers, and research organisations to discuss the future of the battery value chain. <\/p>\n<p>During the event, the Cluster was integrated into the booth of the NGS \u2013 New Generation Storage project, where it presented the NGS+ platform, a tool designed to enhance cooperation among companies, R&amp;D centres, and other stakeholders, accelerating knowledge creation and strengthening the competitiveness of the sector in Portugal.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the Battery Cluster, the Portuguese ecosystem was well represented by several national entities that also travelled to Berlin. Among them were CeNTI, the University of Minho, Data CoLAB, and b.again, some of which are members of the Cluster. Their presence further amplified the international visibility of the work being carried out in Portugal across the battery value chain.  <\/p>\n<p>Participation in the Future Battery Forum 2025 provided an opportunity to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promote the technologies and expertise developed in Portugal;<\/li>\n<li>Establish strategic contacts with international partners;<\/li>\n<li>Monitor emerging trends within the European battery industry;<\/li>\n<li>Explore new opportunities for collaboration and joint development;<\/li>\n<li>Highlight the role of the NGS project and its partners in empowering the national ecosystem.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Throughout the event, the Battery Cluster team engaged in meetings and networking moments that reinforced Portugal\u2019s relevance within the European energy storage landscape.
