Battery Cluster Portugal took part in Battery Innovation Days 2025<\/a>, strengthening its role within the European battery and energy storage landscape. The event brought together industry representativies, research centres, policymakers and European organisations, providing a privileged space for debate, knowledge sharing and strategic cooperation. <\/p>\n

As in other international initiatives, the Cluster was present with a booth of the NGS – New Generation Storage<\/a> project, where it promoted the NGS+ platform, a tool designed to stimulate collaboration, technological development and the strengthening of the battery value chain.<\/p>\n

The participation also included other Portuguese entities, namely LuxOEnergy<\/a> and FEUP – Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto<\/a>, which accompanied the Battery Cluster at the event, further reinforcing the national repreentation at Battery Innovation Days 2025.<\/p>\n

One of the highlights of the event was the participation of Diogo Fula, Business Developer at BAT, as a speaker in the session “From Ground to Grid: Building a Resilient and Sustainable Battery Supply Chain”<\/em>. This intervention provided an overview of the national battery sector and highlighted Portugal’s contribution to the development of a more resilient and sustainable European battery value chain. <\/p>\n

During the event, the Battery Cluster team also had the opportunity to meet with colleagues from BEPA – Batteries European Partnership Association<\/a>, with whom it has been actively collaborating within the respective working groups. In addition, Battery Innovation Days 2025 enabled the creation of new contacts with a wide range of stakeholders from across the battery sector, opening the door to future opportunities for cooperation and joint development. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
