This is a unique event to get in touch with public and private organisations looking for new technological solutions to the challenges facing cities. Online meetings will take place from 29 to 31 October and 12 November (meetings between technology suppliers can only be booked online). The face-to-face meetings will take place at the Smart City Expo World Congress venue in Barcelona from 5 to 7 November (only meetings between those responsible for the challenges and the technology providers). How to participate?
- Register on the platform as a tech or solution provider and complete your profile by 11 November. Choose the challenge(s) you are applying for and provide a detailed explanation of your proposal. Please note that applications lacking detail or not directly targeting the challenge may be dismissed by corporates. Kindly refer to the FAQ for eligibility criteria.
- Select your preference for meeting format: physical, online, or both. Physical meetings will take place at the Smart City Revolution Congress, located at la Fira in Barcelona.
- Don’t forget to include a technological offer in the marketplace section. Your profile will not be activated until the marketplace content has been uploaded and validated by the team.
- Once your profile is validated, you can start requesting meetings with the corporates whose challenges you have applied for.
- The corporation presenting the challenge has the final say. They will choose the providers they want to meet with the accept meeting requests accordingly. The meeting time slot will be provided upon acceptance.
