The Battery Cluster participated in the Energy Storage Summit Germany 2025, one of the leading events dedicated to the energy storage sector, where it was represented with a stand showcasing NGS+, the technological platform of the New Generation Storage (NGS) Mobilizing Agenda.
During the event, which took place from 3 to 5 June 2025, the NGS+ stand welcomed visits from several European RPOs (Research and Promotion Organisations) interested in joining the platform once it becomes widely available. The reception of NGS+ was very positive, confirming the interest in and relevance of this solution for the sector.
Participation in the Energy Storage Summit was also an opportunity to visit national and international partners and to establish new strategic contacts. We were accompanied by Cluster members, namely CeNTI, INEGI, and EdMtech, strengthening the spirit of collaboration that defines our ecosystem.
The NGS+ platform was designed to create an integrated digital ecosystem, serving as a true one-stop-shop aimed to supporting companies within the energy storage value chain. This platform seeks to provide companies with access to updated and interconnected infrastructures, as well as facilities dedicated to the characterization and testing of storage technologies. The platform also actively promotes open innovation, fostering new opportunities for collaboration between different stakeholders – from industry to academia and institutions – and driving the development of innovative solutions for the challenges of energy storage.
Participation in this event reinforces the Battery Cluster’s commitment to promoting innovation and sustainable development in the energy storage sector.
