We are pleased to announce that Battery Cluster Portugal has been officially recognized as one of the four new Competitiveness Clusters for the 2024-2030 period, as stated in Dispatch No. 2784/2025, published in the Official Gazette.
A Competitiveness Cluster is a platform that aggregates knowledge and expertise, consisting of partnerships and networks that integrate business, business associations, public entities, and relevant support institutions. These include, notably, non-business entities from the research and innovation system. The main goal is to promote a common strategic vision, enhancing cooperation and economies of agglomeration to achieve higher competitive capacity levels with a direct impact on the national economy.
This recognition strengthens our commitment to innovation and excellence in the battery and energy storage sector. As a Competitiveness Cluster, we will continue to foster collaboration among business, research institutions, and government entities, driving sustainable development and consolidating Portugal’s role in the global energy landscape.
