Battery Cluster Portugal and the Associação Cluster Portugal Mineral Resources are jointly organising the seminar ‘Critical Mineral Resources and the Battery Value Chain: Opportunities and Challenges for Portugal’. The event will take place on 12 November 2024 at INL in Braga. This seminar will bring together representatives from industry, government and academia to discuss the challenges and opportunities in building a value chain for batteries in Portugal, with a special focus on the exploitation of critical mineral resources. The event will be structured into five panels covering topics such as:
- Exploration and mining;
- Refining;
- Cell and battery production;
- Mobility and stationary applications;
- Recycling.
